Liliput by C.F. Ern
Ladies & Gentlemen, I present the Liliput by Ern.
A neat little trimmer & well named, I think.
A 4/8" blade with 2" cutting edge & stiff 1/2 hollow grind.
I was asked to do this one with scales on & just clean up the blade.... but I just had to buff up the scales & pins & under the tarnish found the wedge pin is brass & the pivot pin is silver. The peening looks similar so possibly it came from the factory like this. Can't see any washers under the pins.
The blade was fairly stained but not a lot of pitting. Still a couple of specks on the pile side of blade but overall came up sharp n shiny :)
I had never seen one of these before but every time I come across a razor by Ern they never fail to impress me.... Even the tiny ones :D

That looks sweeeet.. I even like the round point on this one. I usually prefer anything but a roundpoint. Very nice indeed.

That's a cute little fellow.
All fresh, cleaned and ready to face another century of whisker mowing duties.

If I was the owner I'd seriously consider growing some facial hair just to use this wee critter for its intended purpose :)

Thats a nice looking little blade there. Personally I find it way too frustrating restoring a blade without un-pinning the scales, well done
