Interesting razor.
Got it in a lot and immediately popped out of the crowd.
7/8 french point, 1/2 to full hollow.
I am unfamiliar with the brand, sounds Japanese, but no one on SRP could give me any info, and my google-fu yielded no results.
I know that the name is related to a flower and literally means Cosmos.
The razor looked so good that I had to give it proper clothing.
I decided to go with horn, it is my first time working with it.
I decided that since this is a Japanese (most likely) razor it will have to undergo the Japanese treatment on the hones.
Set bevel on 1k Chosera
Then jump to Ozuko Suita which amazingly enough is 1-8k range hone.
Low quality Nakayama for med finisher
Nakayama Asagi finisher.
Amazing edge, and if I can say the loudest singing razor I can remember.
But enough blabbering here is the evidence:
Black horn, with nice gray figuring.
nickel-silver pins brass/stainless washers
White bone wedge.
This razor has the same type of shank as a Fridour but much easier to fit because it was not warped http://badgerandblade.com/vb/images/...ys/thumbup.gif
