Yeah baby... that's orange alright. Reminds me of the same Ern I made in G10 Hunter orange. :D
Great work brother, Ern worthy. Nice touch on the design and third pin too. Keep 'em coming G.
nice work on those scales glen, thats a sweet combo color, and those are your best pictures, it looks like your getting that light box dialed in and getting to know your new camera, lookn good!!
Definately stands out in the crowd..great work as always Glen.
Glen, looks great! I love the shape of that Ator blade.
So Erick, ya gotta love him, says in a PM yesterday, Glen don't drive all the way to town just to mail my razor, after all it is your vacation :p
So I used that as an excuse to do a full shave with the "Tangerine Dream" this morning before it went to the PO...
The test shave was great but the whole shave was awesome, I really like this blade, just smooth as can be... Used the Shaptons from 1-30 and followed that with 10 laps on the CrOx Bench strop and 15 on the CeOx bench strop...
Nice, Nice !!!! :D
You need 6 inch long blanks at the least
Check out www.woodpenpro.com and look for the 6"x1"x1" pen blanks, they can be cut and used... The Mondo Rod I guess could be used too, although I have not tried it myself...
You have to cut thicker blanks (3/16) then you would for actual wood then thin them up from the backside as the last step...
I would not recommend all this unless you have two things in yer shop
1. A table saw with a very thin kerf rip blade, and a reverse side rip fence...
2. a belt sander, preferably 4x36
without these two tools, doing these acrylic scales is a ton of hard work...
W0W Nice scales Glenn .
I am smitten with this one ,outstanding work my friend.
Cheers Paul
