Great job Brad! Very elegant. :tu

Nice one! Did you chamfer the edges of that wedge before fitting it or is it just a trick of the light?

After I fitted the wedge / sanded it down flush, I disassembled so that I could buff the ends of the wedge up and finish the insides of the wood. I went over the edges of the wood with 1000 grit to knock down any sharp edges, and I did the wedge area of the insides of the scales too, not realizing I shoulda left the sharp edges. My pics here make the gaps look way more pronounced than it is in person...minor mistake but one I won't make again.

Oh I didn't mean that as a critisism, I really like the look of it. I might give it a try.

TELOFIT 5/8" Olivewood
Hello, Undream:
What fine work you have done on that razor, my good man. It shouts quality all around, from the wood scales to the pin work. And it's a square point, too, one of my favorite styles. I am impressed. With a striking razor such as yours, one would want to shave twice a day instead of just once. Well done.
Regards,
Obie

Great work Brad! Don't worry about the wedge. The camera doesn't miss a thing! I'm sure it looks even better in your hand. :tu

Thous are absolutely Beautiful scales and I agree with mikew the softened edges on the wedge actually enhance the look not detract from it. Very elegant.
Olive wood is one of my favorites to work with but boy dose it clog sand paper fast. Id'e be interested in knowing what type of oil you use for finish it looks fantastic. If you don't mind sharing that info please PM me the details.
