Another good save but need advice...
First pics are of a nasty 9/8 I got off of ebay (Item number:120622163092) for $20. I have some before and afters. I took it up to 600 grit and then black rouge then white and it came out pretty good. Except the razor has a crooked smile and I don't know what to do about it. It I grind it down, it will take too much off of the blade. I'm thinking maybe I should just leave well enough alone. Any suggestions?
The second razor in African Blackwood was a razor that was pretty ugly but very little pitting. So I starting sanding at 240 grit and man.... it's a lot easier fixing an ugly razor than a badly pitted one. It was a breeze.
Excuse the pics... they are from my cell phone. I'll post better ones later.
