First restoration
I know it's not the best, but I'm super happy with it.
It's a Genco Fluid steel, looks to be about 4/8, and I think a quarter hollow, but I don't have the best eye for that kinda stuff.
I took a shot in the dark with this once since I got it over a phone call, but for $15 I thought I would take a chance.
After about a day and a half of hand sanding and polishing I got it cleaned up and looking really good.
It still has some pitting, but I don't mind it.
The scales aren't the nicest, but after I cleaned them up I thought that they went pretty good with the razor and I'm not ready to try a re-scale yet.
Can't wait to shave with this puppy tonight. =]

Sure, it's not perfect, but not every razor needs to be completely lacking in character! It looks like you did a very nice job.

You did a nice job on that!
-
you did a good job on that razor, its got a new life, and tbh i like the fact that theres still a little tarnish i think it adds character, and makes it look loved

I'd say it came out looking great. I think it's a nice look to leave some character on a blade. Congrats.

Looks great !! What progression of grit paper did you sand with?
