Gents,
I've found some threads on treating wood w/ hardeners for the sake of 'stabilizing'. Bone/antler scales all talk about the hardness of the material, and that it stinks while cutting or sanding, but nothing about how it is treated w/ Cyano-Acrylic (super glue) or epoxy.
Would any of you know of a thread that explains or shows how this is done?

I am not sure you have to treat horn with anything, just polish it up and that is it.
I think, however I think you can find places online, that can offer bone, horn, wood stabilization.
I have stabilized both wood and bone with CA and epoxy. They work great, but I don't ever suggest anyone doing this themselves. This process is messy, expensive and initially wasteful. It is best left to professionals. I am the dummy here who can't take his own advise, but I also have a proper setup for doing this. Despite that I still rarely do it as it is inconsistent, even the professionals don't get it right every time.

I found threads on wood, but when I searched on bone, antler, the threads advised treating them the same way as wood.
I appreciate bumping me in the right direction.
