Superior Razor in Bone
Its nice to be back home to my tools. This was hand sanded 2 months ago while I was down in Sydney and just went back together yesterday.
There was some pitting on the back side of the blade that wasnt going to come out without a re-grind so I thought blueing the blade might look good. scales got sanded and buffed and came out looking glassy.
The wedge is Coper Nickel, it took a nice mirror finish. There is a lot more work in these metal wedges than acrylic, but I think the end result is worth it. Nickel Silver pins with S/Steel washers.
Its a little smaller than average with a cutting edge of 2 1/2" and the scales are only 4 7/8". Looking forward to trying this one. Its only the second wedge in my rotation.
Thanks
Grant
