Long Weekend in the shop

Well at least I got some work done out in the shop over the long weekend...

These 4 are heading home tomorrow, left to right in the Emerald & Gold is a Joseph Rodgers 7/8 near wedge that had a full custom restore..
Next over in Faux Ivory vintage acrylic is a Wostenholm 6/8 near wedge that had some heavy hone wear Alan and I decided that I would just get it some scales and hone it out, actually I was pretty happy with the looks on it..
Next is a Boker #1056 5/8 hollow with a beautiful scalloped spine and the Boker Spanish point I put it in Tiger acrylic..
Last is another Joseph Rodgers, a full hollow 6/8 "Matchless" in Turquoise & Gold acrylics..

BTW the wooden bowl in the background was one of the Christmas gifts the wifey found for me...

That's a smart looking handful of razors, if I say so myself! Glen, take a few weeks of for R&R, and be prepared to be inundated with razor's in the need of allot of TLC! :beer2:

More very fine work Glen. That Boker is an especially striking combination of steel and scales!
The bowl is a beautiful piece of work as well.

Unless it's lighting artifact, you ain't kiddin' about the hone wear on that one. I am impressed that you were able to hone it out to a shaveable edge. I wouldn't have even attempted it.
Does the bevel actually have the wave in it that it appears to have in the picture?

I could also see those hanging on the Christmas tree. Are you sure you weren't asked to run down to the store to get a few more tree ornaments. I think you figured if you spent the weekend working with these, you could get away with spending time in the shop. Nice way to deflect the honeydew, if so. :rofl2:
