Joseph Elliot in horn
Sorry I haven't posted here in a while bit that doesn't mean that I haven't been working:)
Here's a Joseph Elliot with before and after pictures. The blade was cleaned up and rescaled in horn. The scales are in the original design, original spacer and washers with new brass pins.

classy! theres no way that razor was that shiny right out of the factory in 1830ish :)

Another beaut! You've been a busy man.:beer1:

Very well done and excellent work on the scales. They look exactly like the original!
-
Great work. Did you lose blade width in fixing the uneven bevel, or just polish it out?
-
Nice work of matching the originals!

Nice authentic restore Joed. Bevels looks great too. Honed with tape ?

Thank you all for your kind words.
I did looks some of the width on this razor while bringing it to a mirror finish. Some of the potting was significant and not apparent through the patina. This picture was taken prior to honing but when I did hone it up I did use tape.
