a truly beautiful serpentine razor and i love the jimps leading to that BIG fang!! now thats true gentleman's eye candy
Exquisite work Charlie!! :tu :tu Love the smile and the detail in the jimps!!
That knurling gives the steel an organic look, reminding me of a lizard or a dinosaur. It almost looks alive.

Wow what a beauty. Thats not a smile, that thing is grinning from ear to ear!! Outstanding craftsmanship and cutting edge style
Beautiful Charlie, I think the contrasting finishes on the blade really work well too. And that reptilian tail is just awesome.
Grant
outstanding work, Charlie!
Awesome Charlie ! .... I like that knurling too. More like a dragon tail than a monkey tail :D
Is that alloy banding on the spine & tang ? I'm guessing you etched those bits ?
the canvas goes well with the blade, nice choice
great looking blade - I've never shaved with such a curved cutting edge, it's hard to imagine maneuvering it around one's neck :dropjaw: Have you christened it yet? How about, "the untamed"
Thanks everybody for the kind words. I thought the razor looked kind of lizard-like also. I nearly used green canvas to make it look more reptilian like but I went ahead with the black.
____
No, it's not alloy banding. It is file marks from draw filing with a coarse double-cut file.
Charlie
you can't shave with that one spaz'...it's a museum piece, great job!:)
I'm lost for words, it's already been said.
Inspirational. :bow
The blade looks wonderful, but the different textures on scales and steel really give it living character. Lots of personality
Very nice Charlie. Great idea with the tail's checkering file work.
I really do like that razor!:tuThe knurling effect really catches the eye.
Great looker Charlie, That hollow grinding is coming along nicely !!!!
Hard to add to what has already been written!! I am in awe, beautiful and magnificent!!! Great job, thank you for sharing. I like your choice of black as opposed to green scales too.
Awesome Charlie!
Not much I can say that hasn't already been said. Love the use of rough and polish. makes me really want to start playing on the antique replicas this weekend
Sorry that I'm joining in so late... been too busy lately for computer fun. But the first thing I see when I log in was your new creation... and what eye candy it is! Great razor from the two tone effect to the work down the spine. And an awesome smile. Charlie... I wish I could say something unique but everyone else already covered it. So congrats on a wonderful razor and I do not ever ramble like this so you know it hit the envy bone.
Steve
