Columbia Cutlery, 6/8 half hollow
Here's the second project from the last two weeks.
A 6/8 half hollow, Columbia Cutlery. This one had many and deep pits, and still does. I realized as I was sanding, that there were so many it made a bit of a pattern, so I decided to leave them. I sanded from 220-2000, and buffed with red rouge, CrOx, and MAAS.
The scales are my first time with Padauk, and I really enjoyed working with this wood. I also love the colour. The finish is Tung Oil, which I find really keeps the warmth of the wood. I personally love soft finishes.
The wedge is Dunlop Tortex guitar picks.
Thanks for looking at this one too!
