Awesome! I'd be curious to see the 'before' pics. It's amazing with some Bokers as a lot come with the generic black celluloid scales. You really brought out the inner beauty here
Ohhh Now!! That is NICE! Seems waves are crashing in! SWEET!
No scales came with this, so I had to just wing it but I have done that a time or two :) the steel wasn't too bad just a few stains except at the pivot which had the typical black rings..
Sorry I didn't snap before pics I still get excited when I start these, and forget better than half the time :rofl2:
I can see why that colour would be a personal fave G. So much going on in those scales. A stunna fo sho. :)
Hi Folks !
Glen, I knew it would be VERY nice...but she's breathtaking ! Can't wait to hold her tight ! :-)
Cheers !

Beautiful. Great eye to find that perfect section of the material to display so much vitality. Incredible when you consider the confined space of the scales. I know you've mentioned before you often use one piece of acrylic, keeping a thin cut. I still need to say it though - I still love how you match the sides so inboard of scales, match outside pattern

Very beautiful Glen, your restorations just keep getting more and more gorgeous!
PS-Where do you get hold of that aquamarine acrylic?
