Beautiful job on the scales. Nothing like the real McCoy. Fake don't make it.
well done.
I like it.
She looks beautiful, great job.

Looks fantastic dc. I love the finish on the blade, it marries in with the shell perfectly.
What the pictures do not show is the dazzle and depth factor of the abalone. Two panels do it well... more panels disrupt
the internal design and you can never match colors. When you use 4 panels, you know you are looking at 4 panels - no blending.
You did an amazing job and I am sure the pictures do not do it justice. Great job Walt!!! There is only one other person I know that can do
abalone this well.
What beautiful work!
Nice work Walt! Its a real beauty :)
Oh man, considering what you started with that looks amazing! Those extra hollows are a b**ch to get the pits out of. I know!! I've chosen to just leave them in and clean them in the hopes of not ruining it if I keep going.
I can't believe what came out from under all that corrosion.
Excellent job.. Now I know why I listen to your posts so carefully. :)
Best always!!
