no, sorry it was only a joke too ";"
This 8/8 is already sold. But Iīm shure, I will make some more with this steel and style.
Always interested in!
Very nice work. It is very interesting how the many(ok, several) bladesmiths we have here are complete individuals in techniques, styles, and looks. These razors are destined to become classics identified by styles and materials, as in fine art. One day, a hundred years from now, an expert will look at this and proclaim: " What we have here, is a Buddel"! Kudos ;) Tom
That is truly phenomenal craftsmanship sir, I can absolutely understand why you'd want to keep a beaut like that for yourself. I especially love that texture line on the blade as well. Someday when I can afford a true custom for myself, I would consider something very much along those lines. Well done!
I'm still uncertain about how you've gotten that wavy edge effect. Is it the juncture of the two metals? Or an acid application to the edge? However achieved, it's stunning, indeed.
Stunning Gabor! Just stunning!
You are right, its the line between the V2A and the AEB-L. To bring the contrast out, I used warm Fe3Cl. In the AEB-L is less chrome than in the V2A, so it darkend much more.
