Excellent razor, I like the scales and the interesting grind!
-
Looks great. The scales are pretty neat, especially when combined with the grind.
-
Very nice Glen. I hope to see this razor in a few hours.
-
That is a sweet looking razor. You picked the right set of scales for that blade, perfectly matched. Beautiful restore Glen.

I'm not usually big on the figured scales, but after seeing these I know the reason. I don't like them when they're all the same colour (like on Morley). These ones I like. There's a texture to them, over and above the design on the front scale.
That's a nice lookin' blade for sure Glen!

I really like the personality of those scales Glen :tu. Very nice work as usual :bow

I refer to that grind as a "bellied" one. They shave like a half hollow and appear more concave. I, personally like them. Fine job on this one. It is most awesome!:nj ...get it on...Tom

So nice, now I'm thinking it's time to send you some more projects...;)

Wow G. How did you wrestle that one that one from the scale collectors ? LOL... A deadly snipe maybe :)
Great job on the restore of course. Might be worth a mild acid etch on the next sacrificial one that comes by to test the Damascus possibility.
The grind reminds me of that George W Korn patent grind . Goes by a few names I think. "Double Hollow" comes to mind but I don't know that he actually gave it a name.
Patent is here: RAZOR - Google Patents
