The Football Razor!

I got this great old timer from a gentleman on this very forum, spent about 24 or so hours sanding, then put her in some new scales! Walnut with bone inlays. To be truthful, the intent wasn't to make it look like a football, but once the wood took on it's final color after a layer of polyurethane, it was evident that I had created... The Football Razor!

P.S. I got the idea for the shape from a superb Joseph Rogers 8/8 razor that BigBubba resored (thanks for the idea):

Oh man!! That's a beauty. I think the scales look great man, excellent job. It does kind of remind you of a football, doesn't it, LOL... But the shape, no way. They look great man.

Extra point is GOOD~! I put an edge on her today and shaved. I used a Noxzema - like concoction that mastershake made for pre-shave, and a pumpkin spice scent Bald Frog soap. Smoothest shave I've had to date. Followed up with some splash and slap Pinaud Clubman.
