Here are two razors. The first one is Mike Blue pattern welded steel with a brass fitting and a horn handle. The second is 1095 with micarta. It is hollow ground and the blade has been etched to have a patina and show the temper line.

Those razors are absolutely horrible..they have no place being shown on such a fine forum as this...if you send therm to me I will make sure no one ever has to lay eyes on them again, and the world will be a safer place :)

But seriously, they are nothing short of amazing. Any one can buy a piece of steel and assorted materials and make something that kinda looks like a razor, but it takes a fine craftsman to do what you have done. I suspect there's more than a little bit of your soul forged into those.
They are both beautiful Charlie, but you know my tastes pull me toward the first one the most, that one does more than talk, she sings to me ...

I got the antler from a knife making friend of mine. He let me go through his stash box of tines and choose some that I thought would make good handles.Quote:

Sir, you are a master in your craft. I love shaving with a kamasori (I have 3), but i am a left handed, one hand shaver...So, shaving with the japanese style grind is a little challenging. I will be saving my shekels to get one of those western fixed blades ones of these days. I think they would be much easier to use.
