The silver twill originally came from Masecraft. I purchased it from a fellow shaver here in Australia.
The steel is a 1.05% carbon, stainless steel. It is a powdered metallurgy steel and is really nice to work with. It is also 6 times the price as O1 :( . It has been hardened to approximately 61 HRC.

Excellent first attempt. Or for any given number really. Reminds me of an old Rogers 'Military Razor' which I have. One question, does your tail design give a little undue weight, or is it OK when handling/manoeuvring?
