Custom Number Two
Here is my second custom razor. The blade is RWL34 and is 7/8, the scales are black and red G10. The pins are nickel silver with stainless and brass stacked washers.
I have finally sorted my stencils and etching for my makers mark. The Boxer mark is a tribute to my 12 yr old Boxer, 'Siegfried', who isn't going to last much longer.
Anyway, thanks for looking.

Nice :tu
Cool design, in the last picture it reminds me of a carpet knife :)

That is some very fine work!!
I loved the wide spine on that thing, looked like a serious shaving machine!
The shoulder/thumb notch area was quite unique too.
Good stuff mate, thanks for sharing!

That is beautiful razor, the blade, scales, pins, wedge, all are perfect. You have a good eye for design and the craftsmanship to make what you design. I am impressed.

Hey Stu, great looking razor man. And I love the makers mark, it makes a good brand and has a sincere story behind it.
Is this the chemical etch like we discussed? Either way it looks crisp and professional - nice work!

As I plod along, attempting to restore old beaters, the work of you and others like yourself, amazes me more and more. There's really nothing simple about what you've done here. It's taken a lot of time, and lot of patience, and a lot of skill I'd bet. Or maybe I'm just really behind the power curve in the skills department. Anyways, bravo! It's great, and I am humbled once again!
