Good idea, Glen.
Sometimes we find a destroyed/ demaged razor and get it for less.
If the steel is it worth, this idea will help us to restore it.

Wonderful work! The owner gets a free brush and shell too. What a deal!
Technically, it is missing the a-symmetrical grind of a kamisori :p
Very nice save tho'
Perfect save. After all it took the time and effort of skilled craftsman years ago, so saving something that most would toss, and making it useable again was a great idea and tribute to those who toiled on it before.
Oh....okay so you know I'm sending you one soon....
Very nice! We'll need a shave report of coarse. Just so we get jellous.
From Sheffield to kamisori...what a trip. Nice work. I didn't even recognize the origin till I read the background.
Oh, and hi from Spokane. Hopefully, you are enjoying all the recent snow.
Interesting story, nicely "reinvented" blade; but what really made me smile was the shaving brush -- I've got the same one, in the same pose. I knew you were not-PC!
Nice shave my friend! I can't wait for the shaving report!
By the way, I'd drink lemonade at your place anytime!
looks nice i will have to try one
