Here is a razor that I finished up. The blade is forged 1095 it is a 7/8s 1/4 or 1/2 hollow. The scales are bead blasted jade colored g10.

Charlie,
I like the whole razor, beautiful, but that blade is awesome!!! Resist, resist, resist!! It's not working!!!
Regards,
Howard
Charlie, You do the darndest things which work out most interestingly! I love it. What ran through my head when I saw it is "Something wicked this way comes"!"
Thanks!

I thought I didn't care for the jade G10, til now. And that blade is, as you know, the bees knees. If it's not the best thing since sliced bread, it's darn close.
Nice work Charlie, I especially like the fire scale and marks uniquely preserved on the tang and tail ! Best Regards Ken
Wow that heel is something else! More guillotine than straight!
Superb razor Charlie. The rugged, unrefined tang looks the part. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Nice looking blade, as always.

Nice one! It's very natural, very rough. It looks like hand sanding for the finish. What grit did you sand to before the etch? And what did you etch in, vinegar?
And finally, how thick is the spine? The blade looks almost flat ground, It must have been a large contact wheel.
Thanks for sharing :D

A lovely work of genius once again. I'm nearly speechless, Charlie, and must resist the urge to continue collecting your fine, primitive razors. ;) Well, at least for the short term.
nice Hamon ! nice blade, nice razor !! :beer1:
