Hard to add to what was already said. I feel that saying nice work is an understatement. Wow!
That is a beautiful razor, it is very classy looking.
I have had the exact same idea about making Mappin Lancet style razor. You beat me to it and made a wonderful razor.

You nailed it Brian, Nice! Regards Kenny
Well, I'm the lucky owner of this beautiful new razor. I approached Brian before Christmas last year about making a modern version of the Mappin Lancet Edge. He was in the process of some experimentation regarding thin Damascus blades at the time so after some discussion, we decided to go with that. For me, the defining element of a Lancet Edge is the bulbous nose. I think that Brian has captured this perfectly. I was able to get some pre ban ivory off a member here so we decided to go with that for the scales. Lastly, the we copied the original lead wedge to give it a more authentic feel. Brian is an absolute pleasure to deal with. His attention to detail and willingness to experiment makes having a custom razor made a very easy process. The finished product far exceeded my expectations and it's better than the image I had in my mind of what it would look like. I can't wait to get in my hand and actually feel it and shave with it.
oh wow...thats an amazing piece of work...very nice!!! thanks so much for sharing that with us :)
