G10 Rescale
Took time to rescale an old 6/8 William Revi.. (something) wedge. I restored this a while back but were not happy with the scales.
Now sporting brand new tan G10 scales, and a brass lined blue g10 wedge. Balances to the tang.
I am much more pleased with it this way.

Very nice! What thickness G10 did you start with? I rescaled one and started with 3/16" thick G-10 and found it was way too thick. Looked nice, but threw off the balance of the razor because of the added weight.

Thank you,
this was .076 thick - I use different thicknesses from .060 up to .090. Starting at .090 I often end up rounding the scales and thinning some towards the pivot for added flex. The .060 I use for small light razors, framebacks and so.

That would look great in a 7 day set!!(:-)

Well done. I'm not usually a fan of light colored scales, but those are really nice and set off perfectly by the blue wedge and brass liners.
