Custom 10/8 Blond Longhorn Big Smiler

Hey Fellas,

Here is a neat one that I finished up last evening. Its dressed in blond Texas longhorn with tail overlay. Some pretty nice streaking. Its a big smiler at 10/8. Used O1 for the blade steel, domed and stacked the washers for the front pin. Used a combination of stainless and brass.

The tail is pinned also in stainless and brass. Removable hex head on the pivot. The finish is bright satin with a nice half hollow grind.

This one took some time since I boiled down and pressed the horn myself. BTW, I do this in the shop with my camp stove... not my wife's kitchen. hehe

That is one big razor. Nice looking razor. Love the look of the horn.

Thanks! The advertisement I used here is an old piece of engraved block that was used for printing checks for multiple banks on one side and other bank document letterhead on the other. It is very heavy and made from what I think to be very fine clay composite. Its dated 1890. Best Regards Kenny
