It's a bit of a trek from Australia, mate, but that would make the trip worthwhile - it's even got a 'barbers notch' that could open beers.
What a great prize.

Geoff I am the proud owner of one of Bobs razors and I must say, it almost seems worth the trip just for the slightest chance of acquiring another one of these great shavers. They not only shave great, but they look fantastic too. Good on ya Bob, as you no doubt can tell, I still love that razor, and I envy the bloke that scores your generous door prize.

Really hope I can make it back this year

Short version: few things are free in this world.
I meant no insult or disrespect to anyone, especially Mr. Abrams. He is a businessman, and his skills do command a premium. Like many others here, I've paid for his honing services and found them to be quite a bargain.
This sort of generosity is what makes this forum so awesome. Thanks Bob. Congrats to the lucky recipient.

That's very generous, Bob. And the work of art is simply beautiful. Maybe I can reschedule my trip to Japan so that I can be there for the drawing... Surely SWMBO would understand?!?!?!?
Okay, that's it! I seriously have to move!
That is a very generous gesture, someone's going to leave that meet with a grin that would go all around if it wasn't for the ears :)
What great and thoughtful thing to do! :D Like Zephyr I'm sorry to live on the "wrong" side of the pond, but I wish everyone a great meet and the guy who wins this blade will be happiest puppy, no matter what side of the pond you're at :D
