Red Imp 133 in Bocote with acetate wedge.

Just finished up my Red Imp 132. The original scales are still in good shape, so I kept them. I just wanted to build some customs :)

Bocote scales, 5 coats of Tung oil. Left a matt-ish.
Brass pins with stacked brass and ss washers.
Yellow and black marbled acetate wedge.

Everything sits nice and tight and square, I'm super happy with how this one turned out!

Let me know what you think, good or bad.

Wow thanks guys!

It took me 4 different designs to get the shape right for the blade. I like the way it turned out too.

Also, I love the fact that the first 2 people to reply to me were follow Canadians.

Now, I'm off to the deck for a beer.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys,

This is the first set of scales since I bought a bench sander.....what a difference!!!

I had a hell of a time trying to get good even curves and flat edges by hand, it's WAY easier for me
now with the new sander.

Now I just have to save up for a drill press. I currently have to take my scales in to work and get them drilled
there, I just cant do it straight by hand.
