I made these out of walnut. I used a piece of copper for the spacer and installed my Henry martin blade. Satisfied for my first attempt.

Nice shape on those, and lovely walnut :tu
The copper won't stay shiny for long unless you treated it with something? And I am uncertain about the shape you made; it is common to use a wedge, as opposed to a mere spacer.
Anyways, nice work!
I think it's very elegant! GOOD JOB!!! :tu
Nice job, the shape of the scales flow well with the razor.
If that's your first attempt, you did a damn fine job! My first ones didn't look near that good. Would be nice to see a profile pic of the razor just sitting open on it's own tension. Thanks for sharing.
Nice job. I really like wood, it really stands out.
Just a heads up in case you haven't seen it

Very nice job! If you want to retain the bright finish of the copper you can coat it with either beeswax or carnauba wax, which will also enhance the finish of your walnut.
Here you go, profile with blade open.

I'm satisfied with your first attempt too. Great curves on the whole piece. Well done.
