Haywood & Cartledge in Amboyna Burl
Got this 7/8 " Haywood & Cartledge for a full custom restore by one of our members.
The blade was with decent pitting, but it buffed almost completely out.
I made the scales from Amboyna Burls backed with black liners, and pewter wedge.
I used CA to finish the scales, the pins are nickel silver with SS washers.
It came out great IMO, and the blade is a beast, the spine is maybe a bit over 1/4" thick.

Threads like this one confuse me. Should I learn how to shave with them or just learn to restore them. Right now
neither looks like it on the upward trail!!☹
