I decided to try my luck with carbon fiber for my 1st set of scales. I had an old torrey with broken scales. Wedge is made from a piece of red abs I had laying around. Not happy with the pin job though the razor centers and is pretty snug. Next is more polishing then to the stones. Thanks for looking.

I just bought a ball peen hammer today and a coping saw and hope to join you soon in the "first scales club" :)
Just some advice, if you cut g10 keep extra blades handy, one set and the blade is shot; found that out by going through two blades making three wedges.Quote:
