John Barber Stub tail In bone.
Finally got this done tonight. I decided to keep true to the style of the period of these stub tailed razors. Nothing fancy, just straight scales. I went with bone scales that I cut out of a beef bone from the pet store. I did 3 stacked washers, to give it that big washer look of that period. The biggest I filed to look like flowers. They're brass and SS washers with a nickel silver pin and a lead spacer. Im very happy with the way this turned out. Cant wait to get it honed and on my face. Like usual, my pics are terrible. I need to invest in a camera that actually makes this razor shine like in real life.

Nice!
How hard were the scales to make out of bone?
