Faroh? Farom? "Cast Steel" - Black horn - ca. 1790-1800
Was sent to me with barely a piece of one scale hanging off it.

I saved the two washers that were still attached...and lucky for the owner, I had two more in my "piles of stuff" I had accumulated over the years that nearly 100% dead matched them. I threw in an old vintage lead wedge from yet another donor razor, and what came out is a period-true design with period hardware, and I'll be darned if it isn't one of my favorite razors I've ever worked on. I absolutely LOVE the look of dead straight scales. If anyone knows if it is FAROH or FAROM, I'd love to be able to relay that info to the owner. all I know is, it is nice.
