J. Rodgers resto
A very interesting blade that I enjoyed doing.
It was a basic break it down, sand, polish and keep it original. I thought the scales were just black until I restored them and discovered some brown, black and translucent mottling.

Very nice work. That looks great!

Nice one mycarver very attractive razor. Is it a personal razor or for a customer? It is a giant frameback I really like the contrast of the brass or bronze frame piece against the blade. As I see horn scales restored here it never ceases to amaze me what is actually under the crud after they are cleaned and polished.

pure class. I don't think that razor could look any better than the way you have done it....very very nice job :) The gold spine is so nice!

This piece was for a client. Interestingly, he was showing his wife some razors online and she said " I have one like those in the basement". Turns out it was her grandfathers and she kept it in some family stuff! He never knew about it.

Really nice! Looks really slick and almost new. Excellent work as usual!

Thanks,
For some reason it looks a bit cloudy around the makers mark. In person it looks polished. I couldn't take it any further regardless as the mark was an important feature to keep and it was a bit shallow from the start. But photos seem to do this at times.
Discretion is the better part of valor I guess.
