That is one beautiful razor, very excellent work!! I could easily be tempted by this one, but that point looks a little intimidating to me too. Great job though!!

Howard :)
If it screamed class any louder you would need earplugs, absolutelt gorgeous...please tell me how you did the bolsters Stu?
Thanks for you kind words guys. The tip is muted ever so slightly on the hone so it presents less of a danger than it appears, but still needs some respect.
The brass caps where one of the things that kept me awake at night the most. Each cap is a solid piece of brass with the shape of the corresponding scale tip scalloped out. Then epoxied onto the scale. Then I shaped the tip to march the scale.
I have some progress pics somewhere I will post them later on.
Stu
Here is a couple of pics of the scales and brass tips before and during the epoxy process.
Also a pic of the blade showing the heel after etching the blade art, not spikey :)
I hope this answers the questions.

Beautiful, and one wicked looking point on that toe.
Nice work! It has a very "heavy" look! No photo of the tattoo? :)
Thanks, it not as heavy as it looks. I forgot to weigh this one before sending it off.
Here is the photo of the tattoo.
