This razor passed the 'wife' test.
I.e. my wife think this razor is gorgeous, and she is pretty 'honest' with criticism. :)
The wife test is one of the most stringent known unto man. I don't think I've managed to pass it yet, although perhaps that paint job I did on the en suite came close.
I am definitely very grateful to you Bruno - catering to my eccentricities and whims. But seriously, how cool is a Pi inlaid in coticule? Maths and razors and hones all in one awesome package! :)

The orientation of the pi to the scales is just right... The pi are squared.

It was a very interesting project just to see if I could do it.
Once is enough though :D
And to be honest, Pi was one of the best options you could have picked, because there are no closed loops. In terms of cutting out, Pi was relatively easy as such things go. something like the symbol for (root of) standard deviation or infinity would have been much more difficult.
@the ogre :) the orientation was not that difficult, because I used paper templates so I could adjust until it was right and then let it dry.
@the muppet: that comment was mostly just to use the play on words: "pi are squared".
More seriously, I do like the attention to detail regarding the curve of the spine, scales, and top of the pi all matching.
So if you have a circle with radius z, then is not the area pi*z*z*a?

Beautiful razor though, and very unique choice of inlay!
