I don't think I could get a brass razoo for my Brass Razoo actually...Although there are a few yanks here that I might be able to flog it off to for that price or more...Hmmm :)

This book now listed at $5.00 on that site.
That's a bargain what do you reckon Mick :)
Amazing - new copies of this book are still available! One of the first books I bought when I got interested in collecting razors.... although listed pricing is way out of date now. It does cover a lot of other stuff too that antique collectors (Well, collectors of antique bathroom-type items) hunt for, not just razor related items.
Well, it just arrived and it was worth the $10.00. There's nothing "in-depth" about this, just photos and captions.
The photography varies from readable to very good. In particular the printed adverts are a little too small for me.
A lot of the adverts are from the 1897 Sears Roebuck mail order catalogue and have been recaptioned.
The Australian advertising brings back a few memories of brands long since gone, remember Lifebouy and Parke-Davis shaving creams ?
Everything barber related, including false beards !! Makes entertaining reading.
