    With gold plated Gillette DEs the only thing I've seen recommended is Windex. Gold wash on straights is more fragile than that IMO. I believe anything you use to try and get rust or 'specks' out of the gold wash will strip the gold off with it. So learning to live with it, or losing part or all of it are the only alternatives I know.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
