Went to a few looking for razors in western Sydney.

    Found nothing.

    Advice?

have seen some in the huge antique coffee shop up at Mt Vic I think it was (or that Katoomba area) when down in Bathurst visiting the outlaws
they had some over priced & decapitated Dorko's and other str8s & nice bits at Christmas
    may be worth a ride
    Saved,
    to shave another day.

Around my neck of the woods, here in the USA, I have checked antique shops and come up empty. But they are in continual flux with stuff coming in from time to time. So going back every so often might be fruitful. Also, if you don't see any razors ask them if they have any 'barber memorabilia.' Sometimes they keep razors under the counter rather than on display.

My advice is stay away from the shops near surfing beaches.

The thing with antique stores is they often think rusty old razors are worth more than they really are.

There was/is an antique store in Newtown that used to/does sell razors, often in good condition always at a premium price.
Then there is the one at Mittagong or Berrima. I can't remember exactly nor can I remember the names . Been years since anyone talked about them here.

    An update,

Went to a vintage/antique shop and scored this

Now I think it's in a good condition, but have no idea what is it. Would be great if someone can identify it.

I also found this one but did not take it home

Would love if someone can tell me about both of them.

Nice, looks in excellent shape. Does it have any country of origin stamped on it?
