I've tried the Vegemite.... Not sure how anyone eats it. But everything else on the list has me considering the move to Australia. Or at least a long vacation!

Marmite mate, MARMITE. Vegemite is made from, well, vegies, Marmite is made from beer.

Ahhh, so I've tried the wrong stuff? Cause that Vegimite tastes like salty $@*#. I'll pick up some Marmite tonight and try it out! And I am supposed to try this on buttered toast huh? Originally Posted by Grazor

Yep and it's salty too but IMHO not as much as Vegemite. Yeah butter yer toast up and then spread a thin layer over that........then try it on sandwiches and as a broth mixed in hot water and even dip the knife in an eat it like a lolipop cause it's goooood. Or.............you'll absolutely hate it.

Oh, and I've tried the Fosters. A previous post is right, that stuff is horrible!! But man, do people buy it up!! I guess the commercials work.

Ok so I went out and bought a fresh loaf, Marmite and a new stick of butter. Here are some pics, so tell me if I did this right...
And the results are....... I have a free jar of Marmite if anyone would like to pick it up.

Yep you did it right! The thing about mites is....you either like'em or hate'em...word! I love'em. Kudos for givin it the ol college try though. Fair nuff .
