The oldest I have, an old Stetson felt. Used a lot for hiking trips, fishing and the like.

Bought this at a truck stop in Arkansas, afaik. Brilliant driving hat, light and flexible, and with a brim that you can adjust to block the sun from which ever angle it falls.

My "heavy rain" hat, if you get wet in this one, you fell in the river :D
I also got a flatcap that I use for commuting to work for light rain. Love hats. Had several more, but time flies :)
Yes, I'm not the only Norwegian wearing a hat! :beer1:
I bought this one in 2010:

Stetson Lawai
It has been used a lot in warmer climates, and I'm starting to look for a replacement.
That too will be a Stetson.
Good thread! I've been wearing fedoras and variants for many years. In the summer, I go for a lightweight Panama-style from Biltmore (Canadian company) or one I bought in Miami a few years ago (a bit the worse for wear, but it's a good all-rounder). I have a black short-brim fedora that I wear on summer evenings or if I'm wearing a black shirt in the daytime. I also have a Tilley hat that I wear at the cottage and on the beach or a boat (it floats and has a wind-strap).
Here's the one from Miami:

And here's the Biltmore:

For winter, I've got a black fedora, a charcoal with wider (2 3/8"?) brim and couple of wool felt winter fedoras that I don't mind getting snowed up.
Nice Hanna Hat, Mick!
I dont have any hats other than a couple of baseball caps. But if I can scrounge the dough to get one - its going to be from here.
custom cowboy hats, Texas Hatters, western style hat maker
I like very much these cowboy hats I see in your posts.
But if I wear one and go around the streets of Athens, everyone will look at me as if I was some kind of extraterrestrial. :boohoo:
Slur - maybe you could get yourself a good bowler? :beer2:
