Sure does seem like it.
Many :rofl2:years ago a friend while advising for a winter camping trip said to bring an extra pair of liners for your boots. I heeded his advice and have followed it since. Sleep with them on. People talk about losing heat through your head but I think that your feet are more important!
I'm the same way, can't stand camping in the summertime, I typically camp from October to April and always try to squeeze in a cold camp out in January or February with my son, he's turning 18 soon and work's part time so I fear this may be our last winter trip, he has developed other interests including working with wildlife and girls. 👙
Im not camping. But I am out in the country. Specifically near Oban, and I had to share these shots taken last eve.

Wow. Nice, tranquil scenery. Have some Oban whisky for us.
Thanks.
Well tonight I was out with some glenfiddich. But lets see what I can pick up in the next few days 😊
I have some pretty good photos on the SLR. Tried to get the sunset today but the kid was not for moving fast enough.

Hi all,
Just wanted to share a good customer service story. When taking in my hammock the other day I noticed that the fabric on one end had started to fray. I emailed a couple of pictures to Kammok, and their only question was what my shipping address was so that they could send a replacement.
Nice to see a company stand behind their products.

Spent the last weekend out on the Appalachian Trail down near the the Tennessee/Virginia line ending in Damascus, VA. Incredible weather with low sixties during the day and low 30's at night. Met a lot of south bounders hoping to finish in Georgia before it gets too cold.
