That looks like a walleye found in North America.

The Zander tends to get bigger though.
We have Zander planted by the Game and Fish in a near by lake. A coworker caught one that was over 10# (I think it was around 13# but don't remember for sure). It's been one of the largest caught in the lake so far.
Up here at this end of the province I grew up calling those pickerel and the Americans that come up fishing call them walleye. No matter what you call them pretty tasty so they say.Quote:
