My old friend!!

I changed my avatar, to a pic of my old friend, who just passed.:angel: He was 18 years old!!

Sorry to hear that,,, I'm sure you him 18 good years,,,,,

He followed me every where. I think he thought he was a dog.

Every pet comes with a sad ending. No exceptions. But its still a great bargain - 18 years of companionship and happiness for one day of heartbreak. You can always take comfort in the fact that you gave them a spoiled life.

Sorry for your loss. I still miss my old Basset that was my constant companion for 16 years.

That's sad news, sorry to hear it. Hope you're doing ok. We always had cats when I was growing up and I have lots of happy memories of them, especially Monty. He used to drag a scarf around the whole time so he could flop down wherever and have a nap.

Our animal family fills more rapidly with those that precede us. The little cat that is my avatar is Lil Mama. I opened the door one day and she marched right in to the house and my heart. She was a true mother. Brought a litter of six in her tummy with her. She saw me through a rough bout with cancer, knowing when to comfort me. The picture of me on my home page shows me with her daughter, a half Siamese, now 14. Lil Mama was maybe 7 months older than her children.
Rest easy, the Universe is giving your friend a loving welcome and embrace.
