Here's me on my 2000 Sportster S, testing out the new bars I'd just put on. You can see my 87 Sportster in the background.

Nice ride! I started on a '77 AMF :( ElectraGlide. Got REALLY tired of wrenching, and taking the exact route home to pick up my fallen bits. Bought a 2002 Vrsca when they came out. LOVED that bike. So I went direct from a Shovel, to the Revolution motor. License plate on the rod is "Noevo" ;) The 02 got ripped off shortly afterwards, and I jumped back on the '77 for a ride one day. I barely made it around the block. Was used to the performance of that 105hp Rod. Sold the '77 Glide, got the current V-rod. Lots of highway travel lately. The Rod, and my older back, couldn't take it no more. Love the Barco-Davidson for those LONG trips.
Gotta say too, I LOVE listening to the new breed of bikers (I DO love all bikers, don't get me wrong) who think that 250 miles is a "long trip". I bought the Vrod in Kennebunkport Maine, STOCK saddle, and rode it home to Michigan. I didn't CARE who saw me stand and rub my ass at red lights. Was BRUTAL. Like riding a 2x4, which we all know is really 1.5 x 3.
I have homes in SE Michigan and NW Iowa. I ride the Glide between em, 10-12 times a year. That's a 13 hour ride one way, with ass scratchery, gas, and Vape stops.. and ALWAYS rain SOMEwhere in there...
Used to daily ride year-round in DC but sold my Honda for an engagement ring. I'm really looking into either a BMW GS adv. bike or in a Harley softtail project bike. Hopefully this summer i'll grab one.

My brother had a CBR600RR. That was a fun bike, though I couldn't get comfortable on it for long rides. My throttle hand always fell asleep.
2002 Ducati 998. Also have a 1975 Norton 850 Commando.
