Juliette Huricane Kisses and Pandora Boxer
Both parted within 6 months of each other.
My dog is my Avatar. 13 yrs and just showing signs of getting old when we lost her. Great Akita. Attachment 234025
Unfortunately no pictures but I had a female boxer named Pyrrha. Her goal in life seemed to be to make her owners smile (she excelled at that). Unfortunately we lost her at 6 1/2 years. That was 13 years ago and I still miss her every day. We have a male boxer named Gunner now (12 years 8 months ) and 2 bull terriers whom I inherited in January from a dear friend that chose to take his own life. While I love these dogs dearly, I will never have another Pyrrha. I miss my baby.

This is our girl, Nestle' we got her at about 3 yrs old.
She had been abused. For awhile after we got her ,whenever she saw a man she would run to the furthest spot and lose control of her bladder. We worked with her, showed her love and patience and her behavior changed.
She began to show exuberant love for me and my son, but was connected to my wife.
Overall, like many high energy dogs, she was often a pain in the tuchis, but she was so loving and expressive you forgave her without a second thought.
She died of bloat as we tried to comfort her and we were utterly devastated by her passing.
This is Mojo, she had a stroke in her spinal column one morning and through the course of a day lost the use of her hind legs. She was not in any pain and so wasn't suffering, but she was a sweet dog.

It is terrible how some people treat their animals. Our current pup was abused too and showed the same symptoms. He is getting along in years now and I dread the day he leaves us. Every animal that has been in my life has left it's indelible mark on me. Bless them all and loosing them just gets harder each time.

Bentley, our much loved Golden boy, at the beach in 1999 when he was 9 years of age. Passed on in January of 2014. Front paw prints from our vet after Bentley had passed away. Bentley managed to see good in every single person he met.
