It is a Stetson Biscoe.
I might be regretting this whole idea of wearing a Stetson, seeing as I'm bald as a cue-ball.
Haven't seen a lot of bald men sport a hat like this with style.
Ah well, I'm old now, so who cares what others think;)
Gents when you buy a nice hat don't get stuck on the exact shape of it in the pictures. As long as it is close you can make it yours. If you get it in a brick and mortar they sometimes shape them for you but this process is not hard. When new you are going to add the little details that make it you. A little steam goes a long way and you can easily do this at home. A hat is better too big because you can shim the inside. I do this due to my hair length varies and I ride horses. I have a couple hats that fit perfect without all that but for a hat to fit me it goes like this. I put it on and it sits on my head exposing my eyes more and is for general wearing. IF I am working I might pull it down a little so it stays on if I bend over to pick something up. If I am on a horse and running or the wind comes up I can pull it down more and it ain't coming off for nuthin'. This can cause a headache so when I get out of the wind or whatever a simple push up the forehead and it's adjusted for normal. This all may not be important to you but if you wear your hat all the time it might be. Know your size before you buy and by online at western wear stores. The choices are endless. You should also learn the differences in XXX and XXXXX :<0)
I have a thing for felt hats also.

I have an Akubra I bought many years ago. They use Rabbit fur instead of beaver.
In this part of the country no one wears these hats in the summer. We go straw during the summer months. The main outfits make straw in the same weights as beaver.
