Got two bobs hung fore and aft on both tires center tread.
Parallel tape measures and I’m at 46”7/8 parallel so that should get me around the block a couple times and maybe the tire store.

I just discovered this thread. Took me a long time to read it, but it was worth the effort.
Three letters - W O W !
I believe hou need 1/32 possitive toe on each wheel. Standard numbers in my wrench turning days. But 0 will get ya by for now.
Flattered you tackled the whole thread, and welcome at the best part!
Jacked up the rear end as I wasn’t sure my clutch wasn’t seized. Got her up to idle and bumped the idle up to 1500 rpm. Shut her off again.
With her rear end off the ground dropped her into 4th and restarted her. Then I engaged the clutch and sure enough tires kept spinning. Seized clutch pressure disk.
No worries, step on the brakes while running with the clutch in and peel her free like an Oreo cookie.
Pedal feels better. Kw and the clutch is working.
Damn if I’m not really close to road test time now!!!
Cheers.
No need to be flattered, it was genuinely my pleasure. And I need to admit that I have a connection to MG motorcars. My father had a 1967 MG Hatchback in Old English White. He bought it used in 1969, and spent the following two years trying to keep it on the road;

The first month he had it, the flywheel cracked. Multiple other issues followed. But he was an automobile enthusiast and he loved that car. I do remember riding around in it as a kid. Lots of fun. I'm sure you will enjoy yours as it's much more of a classic than my father's MG was. Congrats on being so close to road testing!
Are we going to get some short video clips of the road test?
Just might be able to work something out For that.
Gave my kid a GoPro he never used, might be able to strap it to the mirror or something.
Remounted the rear license plate tonight in further preparation for the rip..
Figure if I get pulled over without a front plate,, well that’s just dickish.

Well, give us a good run. First 2 should be just you.
I had a chance to buy an MGB/GT just like that one in British Racing Green when I was about 18 but the guy wouldn't sell it to me. It was a good friend's brother in law and he thought I wasn't up to the task of owning it. I was pissed at the time but in retrospect I see that he did me a favor. Shortly thereafter I bought my '68 BMW 1600 (which was where I really learned to work on cars) and learned my lesson that way instead. Of course then it turned into hotrods and I was thoroughly sunk and doomed to be forever under the hood.
