No, it only heats to about 115F. Has a rechargeable battery with a charge good for 6 shaves. It has a cool LED in it.
Is this for real? It's really hard to know what's satire anymore. Maybe if Kate Upton is included, I'll buy one. Meanwhile, I'm really digging the Gillette Fatboy I got from TinTin/Vern-I can run it under hot water, and it gets a little hot.
Seriously, the Fatboy may have been the pinnacle of DE razor development. I'm starting to think it may be time for a rare SOTD with my latest fave.
Just another solution to a non existent problem.

I like that Phillips commercial where the guy looks like he’s ripping his beard out. He goes from a full beard to nothing with no lather.

The youtube video of this thing is over the top. Sad to see that so many guys will drop top dollars for this and still be miserably uncomfortable. When, possibly, they could have spent half and been shaving comfortably for a lifetime.
