I'm glad that she managed to beat it. Cancer is an awful thing.

Sure, the point is do what makes you happy, and doesn't harm anyone.
I have come to dislike hypocrisy quite a lot with the years. I don't bring these things up out of context, but if anyone asks if I do this sort of thing, I tell them. I know some guys who would criticize or snicker at me for going to a breastaurant or (sometimes) strip club, and who would later, when drunk, admit to watching some awfully over-the-top-dirty porn. I'm talking about family guys who are otherwise seen as outstanding members of the community. I am not saying that porn is deeply wrong or anything, but how is letting others do the "dirty work" for you like that any better?
Oh don’t get me wrong. During the hay day of commercial fishing, logging and mining boom there were a lot of strip clubs on the coast, and I was there with a fist full of cash. I just can’t do that here.
I too have been to my share of strip clubs. But not in the last 20 plus years.
Sometime during the early '90s, I visited Baltimore Gas & Electric on a business trip. I cannot recall what I ate at the Hooters on the wharf, but I most certainly enjoyed the scenery and the ale. I could also see why around that time Playboy decided to do a spread on the chain and chose a server from that particular location. She may have well been serving us judging by how far my eyes felt like they were bugging out of my skull. There's something to be said for big cities...
Too bad I mistakenly parked at night in a torrential rainstorm under a Christmas tree of parking regulations that I had not noticed (my 1st encounter with a 'no rear-entry parking' sign). It was the only ticket I had been issued during all my years of traveling. Bastards!
