Thread: My bike....another passion

As I am new I am still finding my way around the forum and stumbled upon this thread, so I thought I would post. Here is my baby. 1977 Shovelhead, 84", custom frame from Fenland Choppers in UK, custom billet alloy split rim wheels from Taylor Wheels UK, and many other custom parts....I didn't build it but I fix it when she needs. She is a stubborn old gal.

84 cubic inch shovelhead motor ?

I just rode my 2002 Harley Heritage Softail Springer for the first time today. Man that thing is impressive ! and fun.

Ok so I found some pics of my bikes.

First is the 2001 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom. I really like this bike for country roads.
Second bike a 2002 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Springer.

That thing is cool looking Reills! I like to ride in comfort. Still, a fun ride I bet, and it turns a lot of heads i would imagine.

Lol I know mate! I bought the donor bike thinking it was standard and had it all built round the block, but it pulls like a train, so a couple of years ago the block was rebuilt and I had some investigations done. The jugs had been swapped out for 80" ones and new stroker kit fitted,...on measuring up it is actually an 86.492CI (1417cc we call them here across the pond).

Hence the reason it pulls like a train lol...it is certainly fun to ride, being a hardtail with a springer front it throws out the odd surprise now and again!

Cool bike.. My back hurts just looking at it

Heres my new one, 7k on the clocks. It was white so I made it black. It goes straight to 150mph and cornering is a dream.
Just before Christmas some dude wrote my bike off , inches away from a crushed leg..

Wow lucky mate! I've had a few offs and been very lucky too. I got rid of the ninja and moved onto a more sedate form of riding years ago. I love the bike I have now. It's a bitch at times though, sometimes she'll start 3rd kick sweet as a daisy, other times I'll be sweating my bollocks off kicking her over, usually when someone is watching....I reckon she does it on purpose.
